MONOC and Manchester Police Traffic Safety Unit will host a free child safety seat inspection at the Ridgeway Fire Department, Route 571, from 4 to 8 p.m. Appointments are not required, but can be made by calling the Manchester Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit at 732-657-2009 ext. 2143 or MONOC at 800-287-3515 ext. 1107.

Ridgeway Elementary School will hold a fundraiser for Kevin's Kids at the Lakehurst McDonalds, Route 70, from 4 and 8 p.m. A voucher with name and amount of purchase, excluding tax, must be presented in order for 25 percent of your purchase to be donated to the cause. Copies are not available during the event.

Manchester Middle School Drama Club will present "Fiddler on the Roof" at 7 p.m. in the Manchester Township High School auditorium, Colonial Drive. The show will also be on May 10 at the same time. Tickets are $3 for middle school students and children under 12 and $4 for all others and will be available at the door half an hour before performances.

Crestwood Village V Hilltop Women's Club will sponsor a gift auction from noon to 3 p.m. The auction will be held at 325 Schoolhouse Road. Doors will open at 11 a.m. Admission price is $5, which includes 15 free tickets as well as cake and coffee. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Crestwood Village IV Resident's Club will hold a Western Dance from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. with DJ Steve Burger. The cost is $7 per person and includes setups, snacks, cake and coffee. Please BYOB.

Men's Club of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 180 Route 539, will offer a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children.

Lakehurst United Methodist Church announced they will be holding an Outdoor Craft Fair on May 10 from 9 a.m. to noon. Lakehurst United Methodist Church is located at 204 Elm Street, Lakehurst.

Garden State Philharmonic will hold the final installment of Exploring American Genius at 8 p.m. Reserved seating for Orchestra is $35 for adults, $32 for seniors (60 or older) and $15 for students. Mezzanine seating is $31 for adults, $28 for seniors and $10 for students. More information, call 732-451-0064.

Georgian Court will hold a Multimedia Art Show through May 30. The artist reception will be on May 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery and is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call Kathleen Settles at 732-987-2388.

Crestwood Village VI Resident's Club will hold a meeting at 7:30. The entertainment after the meeting will be the Meadowettes, followed by coffee, tea and dessert as well as a 50/50.

Crestwood Village I, 92 Fairway Lane, will be showing the movie "Waitress," starring Keri Russell. The movie is free, but a donation is appreciated. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 7 p.m.

Busy Bees of Pine Ridge at Crestwood will hold a Chinese Auction and Card Party. Admission is $2 per person. Free coffee, cake, hot dogs and soda will be available. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The lodge is located on Beaver Avenue.

Manchester Township Board of Education will host an open house reception for incoming Superintendent of Schools David Trethaway and incoming Business Administrator Craig Lorentzen from 3 to 6 p.m. in the library at Manchester Township High School on South Colonial Drive. Light refreshments will be served.
