BUTTERFLY COLLECTION TAKES FLIGHT AT MUSEUM
TOMS RIVER - Ocean County Freeholder Joseph H. Vicari (second right) presents a resolution of appreciation to Sergio Sciancalepore for contributing an extensive collection of 10,000 butterfly specimens to the Insectropolis Bug Museum in Toms River. At left, Liza Bergamotto, of Union, read and presented a plaque engraved with a poem in tribute to Sciancalepore who had spent years gathering the collection before his death. At right, Chris Koener holds a small segment of the collection.
