Never have those six words held as much value as they did on Thursday, November 29 when students, faculty and families showed up at the Lakehurst Burger King to enjoy a delicious meal and help support Manchester Township Elementary School's Holiday Drive.
The fundraiser, organized by school Principal Dr. Frances Scudese, was a way to raise money for Kevin's Kids, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes toys for underprivileged children throughout Manchester.
The event was held between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. during which time MTES was awarded a percentage of all sales to put toward their goal for this year's drive.
"We believe this is going to be extremely successful," said Scudese during the early evening hours. "There are already more people than we had last year. It's a wonderful way to raise money and we are thankful that Burger King was willing to participate."

| Local children were thrilled as well.
"I love Burger King. This is so much fun," said 8-year-old Angela Encardone, of Manchester, who was giggling and playing with her classmates while waiting for her meal.
The restaurant grew more and more crowded as the evening wore on but the children were enjoying the atmosphere as teachers handed out paper crowns for them to wear as they waited.
"It took over an hour to get our food but I didn't care," stated second grader, Abbie McCoy of Manchester, who attended the event with her father and sisters.
Teachers even lent a hand to Burger Kind employees by controlling the crowd and even cleaning tables and emptying garbage pails.
"We're happy to help out. There are a lot of people here and it's a bit overwhelming. We're just trying to keep the people coming in and out as quickly and easily as possible," stated one MTES staff member.
One hundred percent of the money raised from the evening will go directly to Kevin's Kids, where it will be used to purchase new toys for children of all ages, which will then be wrapped and delivered before Christmas by local Manchester residents.
"I really love this charity because it concentrates on children in our area. We are here to support them," local mom Laura Kyle reported as she delivered burgers and fries to her two sons, Christopher and Dylan, who attend MTES. "I'm very glad the school does this, and my boys are glad as well. It's a delicious way to give back to the community."
