Events For Local Clubs & Organizations
1 American Irish Club of Whiting will hold the first meeting of the new year at 2 p.m. at Unity Hall. There will be entertainment, refreshments and a drawing. There will also be a meeting on February 28 at the same time and location. For more information, please call K.M. Lynch at 732-350-4853.
Sodexho Food Services will hold the Souper Bowl to benefit the National Kidney Foundation. The event will take place at Manchester High School from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is $6 and $1 off for a donation of a non-perishable food item for local food bank. CASA for Children will hold a Sports Memorabilia Auction sponsored by Mulligan's Bar and Grill of Toms River from 1 to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the advocacy for children who are victims of abuse and neglect and currently in foster care. Cost is $10 per ticket. For more information, please call

Whiting Elementary School displays artwork and holds a reception at the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library, Colonial Drive, Manchester. The reception will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

America's Keswick from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. will be holding a Special Time for Ladies in the Activity Center. Women are invited to swim the indoor pool, relax in the hot tub and sauna or play a game of racquetball or volleyball plus much more.
