Ocean County 4-H Association Sponsors Seedling Sale
TOMS RIVER - The Ocean County 4-H Association is sponsoring a 4-H Spring Tree Seedling Sale. You may select from threeyear seedlings of White Pine and Douglas Fir, with prices ranging from $2 to $3.25 for three trees. Also available are two-year seedlings of Kousa Dogwood at $2 per tree or $5 for a bundle of three; Lilac and Rosa Rugosa, one- and two-year seedlings at $2 per tree or $5.50 per bundle of three; and Spiced Bush, Northern Bayberry and Beach Plum, one- and two-year seedlings at $3 per tree or $5.50 per bundle of three. Quantities of 15, 25, 50 and 100, same variety, are available at discounted prices.
They are now accepting orders for the sale and the estimated pick-up date will be about April 7. If you are interested in placing an order, stop at the Ocean County 4-H Office, Ocean County Extension Center, 1623 Whitesville Road, for an order form or send a self addressed stamped envelope.
