EMILY ADAMS LEWIS BATTERSBY
Emily Adams Lewis Battersby, 91, of Manchester, passed away peacefully January 14, at Leisure Chateau, Lakewood. Born in Plainfield, she had resided in Allenhurst before moving to Manchester in 1990.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Loren Lewis; and her second husband, Edward Battersby, in 1997; her son, Brent Lewis, at 18 months old; and her brother, Bud Adams. Surviving are a sister, Gertrude DiMeza of Wilmington, NC; a son, Loren Lewis, of California; two daughters, Lynn Lewis Maffia of Eatontown and Kaaren Lewis Shandroff of New York, NY; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
