Renaissance Shield Brings Smiles To Children's Faces

MANCHESTER - The children at Ocean County Head Start received a surprise visit from the Renaissance Shield bearing gifts of Easter candy for each of them. This is the fourth year that they have attended to the needs of these less fortunate children in the community.
Each year, the Renaissance Shield takes the children to Jenkinson's Aquarium, and they enjoy lunch afterwards. In December, the children are treated to a lunch at La Bove Grand, compliments of Jerry and Luigi Bove, followed by gifts from the members of the Renaissance Shield, and for Easter, they make baskets for the children.
