Mayor Borsetti Officially Welcomes Kula-Kamala-Yoga To Lakehurst
LAKEHURST - On May 1, Mayor Timothy Borsetti officially cut the red ribbon at Kula- Kamala-Yoga in commemoration of the yoga studio's grand opening on May 3. Kula-Kamala- Yoga is the premier yoga studio in the area. It is designed, owned and operated by Sharon and Ed Allitt, residents of Toms River. "Our studio is inspired by the Anusara method of yoga, which focuses on the inherent goodness of people, the connection we have to one another and the artistry we are each capable of in our daily yoga practice both on and off the mat."
Bamboo floors and props made of cork and bamboo, as well as environmentally friendly yoga mats all add to the owner's intention to create a uniquely holistic space for people to pursue yoga. Kula-Kamala-Yoga will also house a boutique carrying Jade yoga mats and Manduka and Bean props, yoga-inspired clothing by Hardtail and a line of original T-shirts designed by Sharon. Energy Muse jewelry and several ayurvedic (an ancient Hindu health and wellness practice) products will also be available. Gift certificatesare available, and how wonderful is that with Mother's Day just around the corner (Mother's Day is May 11). Yoga and meditation classes will be held daily, and the schedule is available online at www.kula-kamala-yoga.com or at the studio.
