St. Stephen's To Hold Strawberry Festival
WHITING - St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 180 Route 539, will celebrate the season of the strawberry with its annual Strawberry Festival. Join the festivities on June 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to enjoy authentic, old fashioned strawberry shortcake topped with whipped cream and the beverage of your choice.
In addition, a table of delicious, homemade baked goods will be on sale. They are all baked by the ladies of the church.
Tickets for the event are $4.50 for adults and $2 for children and will be sold after the 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday worship up to and including June 8. Tickets may be obtained by calling the church officefrom 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday, at 732-350-2121.
