Leisure Village West ORT Announces Upcoming Events

MANCHESTER - On May 28 at 12:30 p.m., they will have their fabulous Dessert, Chinese Auction and Fashion Show at Willow Hall. The models will wow you with fashions from Silver Threads.

June 5 is the annual Paid-Up Membership Luncheon. If you haven't done so already, be sure to give Rose Richard your dues check for $36. You can always put the check in an envelope addressed to Rose Richard, mark it dues and drop it into the ORT mailbox in Encore.

July 20 will be the annual gala and will feature Ed Goldberg and his Odessa Klezmer Band, a truly talented group. For more information, call Mae at 732-657-1963, Annette at 732-657-9829 or Gloria at 732-408-0323.

On June 23, join them for a trip to Bramson, their closest ORT school in Forest Hills, NY. The occasion is graduation for this year's graduating ORT students. The cost is approximately $20 for bus transportation and includes dinner. For information and reservations, call Mae at 732-657-1963, Annette at 732-657-9829 or Gloria at 732-408-0323.

On August 17 from 4 to 8 p.m., the region is sponsoring an exciting Monte Carlo Night at the former public services building in Union (GSP to exit 140, then a right turn onto Morris Avenue). The event will include a delicious catered dinner, professional gambling equipment and table games in attractive surroundings. There will also be a silent auction with fabulous prizes.

They look forward to another Forsgate Country Club event on September 25. It will be a luncheon and lecture interspersed with musical interludes provided by a terrific Philadelphia opera company. They will be car pooling.
