The Pines At Whiting To Host Open House
WHITING - On May 16, come out to The Pines at Whiting where The Vintage Automobile Museum of New Jersey and The Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County are coming to help them celebrate Older Americans Month.
The Pines at Whiting will be holding an open house beginning with a proclamation by Mayor Michael Fressola of Manchester Township. The event grounds will be organized in order of the decades featuring period cars from the 1890s to the 1980s.
Join them for fun, refreshments, decade trivia and music courtesy of 1160 AM WOBM and folks in period dress. The museum volunteers will be prepared to share their knowledge and experiences as well as information regarding the vintage automobile museum scheduled to be built in Whiting. This is a wonderful opportunity to recall the important memories from the decades of your life.
The Pines at Whiting will feature a booth entitled, "A Fresh Perspective on Aging - Over a Decade of Wellness," where the public can obtain information on health and wellness programs held at The Pines at Whiting.
The open house and celebration are scheduled to begin at noon and will come to a close at 3 p.m. Facility tours will be available to all those interested in finding out more about The Pines at Whiting.
