CAROLINE CASERTANO
Caroline Casertano, 85, of Whiting, Manchester, died April 7, at her home. She was a homemaker all her life. Mrs. Casertano was born in Harlem, NY, and raised in the Bronx. She lived on Staten Island and then in Lakewood for 31 years before moving to Crestwood Village, Whiting, four years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale Casertano, in 1989. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Green of Whiting and Joanne and Jake King of Whiting; two sons and daughters in-law, Joseph and Sandra Casertano of North Carolina and Patrick and Ellen Casertano of Beachwood; eight grandchildren, Mindy, Robert, John, Joseph, Dorene, Angela, Joseph and Patrick; and fivegreatgrandchildren, Gabriel, Abigail, Alexis, Michael and Jake.
