MARIE E. CERASE

Marie E. Cerase, 79, of the Whiting section of Manchester, died April 24, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She worked as a medical assistant for many years for Dr. Mauro DeGirolamo in Sayreville. Born in Newark, she lived in Old Bridge for 47 years before moving to Crestwood Village VI in Whiting. She was a graduate of Central High School, Newark, in January 1947, and a member of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, and St John's Church, Lakehurst.

She is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Cesare, in 2008. Surviving are her son, Joseph W. and his wife, Kathleen Coppola, of Bayville; daughters, Linda A Gallo and Gary DeNoia of Lakehurst and Jo-Ann Braziatis and husband, Ken, of Sayreville; a brother, Robert and his wife, Patricia Cerase, of Sayreville; and eight grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Tina Marie, Cheryl, Ginni, Johnathan, Marty and Joey; and three great-grandchildren, Lea, Catello and Daniel.
