Experimental Aircraft Association Announces Flight Rally
OCEAN COUNTY- The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Ocean County Chapter 898, announced they will be sponsoring a Young Eagle Flight Rally at the Robert J. Miller Airport, Route 530 in Berkeley Township, on June 14 from 9 a.m. to noon. The rain date is scheduled for June 15.
This day was developed to welcome young people into the world of aviation. The chapter will give children between the ages of 8 and 18 a free airplane ride. A parent or guardian must be present to sign a required permission slip. Your child will experience a safe and enjoyable flight that will give new perspectives on the world and life in general aviation.
Following the flight, each child will receive a certificatemaking them an officialYoung Eagle as well as having their name listed in the "World's Largest Logbook," which is on permanent display at the EAA Air Adventure Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
