Adult Programs

June 4, 2 to 5 p.m. - Feature Film. "Atonement."

June 7, 2 to 4 p.m. - Artist Reception. Riverview School. Children are welcome.

June 9, 2 to 4 p.m. - My Wishes. Will they be carried out? This presentation will cover topics such as health care directives, power of attorney, health care proxy and living wills.

June 11, 2 to 5 p.m. - Feature Film. "Enchanted."

June 13, 1 to 3 p.m. - Quilting Club. Discuss ideas for projects, exchange how-to tips and share personal experiences. Bring your quilts in progress and your sewing machines.

June 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Bronx Party. David Greco from Mike's Deli on Arthur Ave will sign copies of "The Arthur Avenue Cookbook" and hold a mozzarella making demo. Anthony Green from the Bronx Historical Society will present a slideshow and bring Bronx memorabilia. The Roustabouts will end the party with a musical tribute to Bobby Darin and Dion and the Belmonts.

June 16, 10 a.m. to noon - Book Café. Come talk about books you've read and enjoyed. Get suggestions on some new reads. Everyone is welcome.

June 17, 2 to 4 p.m. - Writer's Group. The circle serves as a forum for members to critique each other's works, share their personal writing experiences and discuss important issues.

June 18, 2 and 6:30 p.m. - Foreign Film Series. "Her Name is Sabine."

June 19, 7 p.m. - Library Laffers. An active group that uses laughter exercises to improve health and well-being. See online calendar for more info.

June 20, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - AARP Driving Course. A one-day defensive driving course in a classroom. A $10 check made out to AARP due the day of course. Registration is required.

June 25, 2 to 4 p.m. - Amish Traditions. Sandy Riley will share her personal accounts, funny stories and facts that will give listeners a behind the scenes look at Amish life. Registration begins June 9.

Friends Programs

June 10, 10 a.m.to noon - Friends General Meeting. Ocean County Sheriff's Department Canine Unit. Two dogs will exhibit their talents in sniffing out lost persons, drugs and more.
