manchester First Aid Squad needs Volunteers
MANCHESTER - Manchester First Aid Squad is seeking volunteers as medical technicians and drivers. To meet the increasing demands for service, the squad continues to seek new members to volunteer as ambulance drivers, medical technicians (EMTs) or first responders. Manchester First Aid and Rescue Squad 29 respond promptly to your 911 call to provide emergency medical aid for township residents. They're just minutes away, located on Colonial Drive and are part of a dedicated team. For all those willing to consider volunteering, this could be your golden opportunity to make a real contribution to your community, to make a difference and really make your day.
They are seeking volunteers, ranging from cadet members (16 to 18-years old) to senior citizens. You can choose to start by serving as little as six hours a week. Initial training, including learning CPR and safety, is done at their building. On-the-job training is with your own crew at your regularly scheduled time. Formal training for BLS (basic life-saving skills) is also done locally, normally in a few months.
